Steam Trubine Major Overhaul at 700MW Tg Bin Power Plant

Successful Project Completion: 700MW Steam Turbine & Generator, Malaysia

JML was the outage contractor for the major inspection works on a 700MW Steam Turbine & Generator at Tanjung Bin Power Plant (Unit#10 and #30) managed by TPSC Engineering (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. JML’s scope involved disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly and testing of the components mentioned below:

  • Steam Turbine HP, IP, LPA & LPB
  • Steam Turbine Generator
  • Main steam & Control Valves -14 Nos
  • Boiler Feed Pumps – 2 Units

Throughout the outage, the JML team carried out the work efficiently and to the highest standard of quality and safety. We successfully completed the works within the outage deadline of 53 days.
